Job Description

The Food Service Worker I performs a variety of duties in relation to the preparation and distribution of meals. Responsibilities include:

• Portioning and serving meals according to posted procedures or as directed by the cook or supervisor.
• Washing dishes and utensils.
• Scrubbing pots, pans, and related accessories.
• Cleaning kitchen and dining areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training And Experience

Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Food Safe Certificate.

Skills And Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
