The success of the operation of both homes is built on the foundation that this is a true ‘home’ for all its Residents, where they may live with dignity and have their needs adequately met.
The County of Bruce is seeking applications for Food Service Workers at Brucelea Haven Long-Term Care Home in Walkerton, Ontario. Reporting to the Dietary Services Manager, this position is key to the facility, preparing and serving meals to the residents in a pleasant and respectful manner. Weekend and shift work is required.
Location: Walkerton ON
Start Date: Flexible based on availability of successful candidate
Status: Casual - No guarantee of hours, but must provide availability for 6 shifts a month including 1 weekend
Salary: $25.74 Per Hour
4% Vacation in Lieu
12% Benefits in Lieu

Completion of, or current enrollment in, the Food Service Worker program required. Safe Food Handling Certificate an asset. Grade 12 education required. Able to lift forty pounds. Able to work independently.
