Overview

The Food Service Worker provides patient-focused care by assembling and delivering patient trays, nourishments, and menus. Ensures compliance with Infection Control and Public Health Standards when preparing and portioning food items, and is responsible for ware washing dishes, pots, cooking, and kitchen equipment.

Minimum Education

• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Toronto Public Health Department Food Handler Certification or equivalent.
