Job summary

Aramark seeks a Receiver for Dal Food Services at Dalhousie University in Halifax. The role encompasses receiving, labeling, inventory control, and adherence to safety policies. You will stock shelves, maintain perishable controls, and support daily operations in a union environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse logistics or similar role.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• WHMIS and Food Safe certification is an asset.
• Ability to work supervised or unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, label items, and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products, apply FIFO for perishables.
• Operate manual/electric pallet jacks and forklifts if required.
• Pick inventory to fulfill orders and maintain par levels.
• Follow SOPs to meet accuracy and production standards.
• Load/unload materials to warehouse or client locations.
