Job summary

Bento Sushi in Sherbrooke, QC is seeking a part-time food service worker to join our fast-paced team. You will assist with daily sushi preparation, set up workstations, and provide friendly customer service in a busy environment.

We offer training, a collaborative team, and opportunities for growth within Bento Sushi across Canada and the United States. Start immediately with a competitive wage of $17.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food service industry; sushi preparation or handling experience is an asset.
• Able to lift 15 kg (33 lb).
• Able to stand for an extended period.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients
• Preparation of sushi and other dishes (salads, rice bowls and sushi)
• Answer customers' questions and offer recommendations
• Keep the workstation clean and tidy in accordance with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
• Perform any other task required for the smooth running of operations

Responsibilities

Food service workers perform routine kitchen tasks, such as setting up workstations and ingredients, so meals can be prepared. The ideal candidate will work effectively as part of a team or alone, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Bento offers the necessary training! We will even provide your uniform. This role also offers opportunities for career growth, including potential advancement into franchise ownership.
