Job summary

Bento Inc. is hiring a Food Service Team Member (Sushi Chef) at the Loblaws location in Peterborough, ON. You will prepare sushi and other menu items according to recipes, maintain food safety standards, track production, manage inventory, and collaborate with store staff in a fast-paced environment.

Full training is provided; prior sushi experience is not required. This part-time role offers starting pay of $17.95 per hour, with benefits and retirement plans for eligible staff, ample training

Qualifications

FOOD SERVICE TEAM MEMBER (SUSHI CHEF)

Location and hours

• Loblaws: 769 Borden Avenue, Peterborough, ON K9J 0B6 | Sunday to Saturday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

Food Service Team Members play a key role in preparing high-quality sushi while ensuring food safety standards, tracking production, managing inventory, and collaborating with store employees in a fast-paced environment. Full training is provided; prior sushi experience is not required.

• Prepare sushi and other menu items according to company recipes and quality standards.


• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain accurate logs.


• Track daily production and assist in kitchen operations.


• Receive, check, and organize inventory, and assist with ordering.
