Bento is hiring a Food Service Team Member (Sushi Chef) for an on-site, part-time role at Loblaws in Peterborough, ON. You will prepare sushi and other items to company standards and support inventory and production tracking.

No prior sushi experience required; full training provided. You will work with store staff to maintain food safety and a high-quality guest experience, using Bento tools to update production data.

Qualifications

• Food service experience required; sushi experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable using basic technology for communication and training.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg (45 lbs).
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Food Handler Certification is an asset.

• Loblaws: 769 Borden Avenue, Peterborough, ON K9J 0B6 | Sunday to Saturday: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

Food Service Team Members play a key role in preparing high-quality sushi while ensuring food safety standards, tracking production, managing inventory, and collaborating with store employees in a fast-paced environment. Full training is provided; prior sushi experience is not required.
