Tim Hortons in Canada is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to lead the front-of-house team, set the tone for service, and guide daily operations to meet quality, safety, and cleanliness standards.

You will train and supervise staff, manage cash handling, and collaborate with management to develop team members while maintaining a guest-focused, efficient environment across all shifts.

Qualifications

  • Tim Hortons experience is an asset.
  • Previous supervisory experience in Quick Service is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift 25 kg

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to deliver great guest service and keep the restaurant running smoothly.
  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures so our team works confidently and correctly.
  • Support daily operations by coordinating tasks, delegating effectively, and helping maintain compliance with Company policies.
  • Perform walk-throughs to ensure the restaurant is ready to open, ready to close, and ready for rush periods.
  • Act as Cash Manager as needed, including opening cash register(s) and verifying cash at close.
  • Partner with the management team to train, develop, and communicate with team members in ways that build retention and growth.
  • Ensure quality, production, and service standards are met while maintaining a safe, efficient, professional environment for guests and coworkers.
  • Support accurate coverage by helping with team member scheduling and shift readiness.
  • Follow up on guest-related concerns as needed and help drive resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support restaurant profitability.

Working alongside restaurant management, Food Service Supervisors are a key part of the leadership team. You set the tone for service, guide your team through day-to-day operations, and help ensure standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness are consistently met.

What you’ll do

Requirements

Supervise and support front-of-house team members to deliver friendly, fast, and accurate guest service

Ensure shift operations meet Tim Hortons service and quality standards, including cleanliness and food safety

Coordinate and oversee daily tasks such as order accuracy, food service flow, and guest issue resolution

Train, coach, and develop staff on procedures, customer service expectations, and safety practices

Maintain a respectful, inclusive workplace by leading with professionalism and effective communication

Monitor inventory levels and help manage supplies, waste, and ordering processes

Handle cash, POS transactions, and basic administrative duties in accordance with company policies

Follow opening, closing, and shift-change procedures to ensure smooth operations

Respond to guest feedback and resolve service concerns promptly and appropriately

Support scheduling, timekeeping, and attendance coordination to meet staffing requirements
