Food Service Counter Attendant

• Location: 297 Reeves Street, Port Hawkesbury, NS B9A 2B6
• Workplace: On site
• Salary: $15.70/hour, 35-40 hours/week
• Terms: Permanent, Full-time
• Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
• Start date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
• Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• Package take-out food
• Portion and wrap foods
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars
• Take customers' orders
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit

Additional Information

• Transportation: Own transportation required
• Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
• Experience: Will train
