Job summary

The University of Toronto Mississauga’s Hospitality and Ancillary Services Department seeks a seasoned operations professional to oversee daily unit needs, respond to service issues, and ensure compliance with guidelines for food and beverage service.

You will bring at least five years of related experience in food and beverage operations, events management, and knowledge of Ontario regulations, with strong MS Office skills and Smart Serve/FOOD Handler certifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of related experience
  • Experience in food, beverage and alcohol operation and management is required
  • Experience in events management is required
  • Familiarity and knowledge of Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulations, including special occasion permit application
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Must possess valid Smart Serve Ontario certification and Ontario Food Handler certification

Your opportunity
