Job summary

Green Acres Foundation in Coaldale, AB is seeking friendly Food Servers for a casual role in our senior living facility. You will set tables, assist cooks, serve meals, and help maintain a clean dining area while respecting residents' privacy and dignity.

Flexible day shifts are available (6am–2pm, 7am–11am, 10:30am–6:30pm) with weekday, weekend and holiday coverage. Candidates must pass a Criminal Record Check and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the dining room for meal service and set tables.
• Assist cooks with kitchen duties and food preparation.

• Clean the dining area after each meal.
• Wash pots, pans, dishes and utensils.
• Stock kitchenettes and assist residents with medications as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Food Servers required for Seniors' Living Facility in Coaldale

Green Acres Foundation is seeking a dynamic multi-tasker, with a strong customer service skills to work in the position of Food Services.

The ideal candidate should be a team-oriented person who has a flexible, willing, and positive attitude.

About the position:

• This is a casual position..
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Shifts to cover in this position are primarily day shifts - 6am to 2pm, 7am to 11am, and/or 10:30am to 6:30pm

Our Food Service staff are responsible for the following:

• Preparing the dining room for meal service and setting tables
• Assisting cooks with kitchen duties and food preparation
• Serving meals
• Cleaning duties, including cleaning the dining room after each meal
• Washing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
• Stocking kitchenettes
• Assisting residents with medications
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
• A flexible, willing, and positive attitude

Food Safe Certification, First Aid Certification and WHMIS Training is an asset.
