Job summary

Maker's Pride seeks a Sanitation Supervisor to lead sanitation operations within a food manufacturing environment. You will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinate SOPs, and drive continuous improvement across shifts while maintaining strong ties with plant leadership.

The role requires hands-on leadership and experience with GMP, lean manufacturing methods, and staff training to sustain an injury-free operation and cost-effective sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sanitation, food safety or quality supervisory experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to train teams.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques and CI tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, OEE).
• GMP knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the sanitation process and ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Ensure KPIs in sanitation areas are met or exceeded.
• Coordinate SOP setup for sanitation operations and improve labor efficiency.
• Work with maintenance, quality and production to ensure timely PMs and proper sanitation practices.
• Budget labor and operational costs for ongoing operations and new projects.
• Lead and develop subordinate staff and monitor performance.
