Job summary

Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, Ontario, is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Food Production Assistant in the Nutrition Services department. Position Summary

Nutrition Services is currently looking for a Temporary Part-Time Food Production Assistant to join their team.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
• Certificate of Qualification as a Cook or an equivalent combination of two years recent experience doing large quantity food cooking and willingness to be Certified
• Current Food Handlers Training & Certification and must maintain certification
• Demonstrated ability to adjust recipes and follow directions
• Demonstrated knowledge of Portion Control, W.H.M.I.S.–department specific, H.A.C.C.P. (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point)
• Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job, as per Physical Demands Analysis

Hours of Work

Must be available to work eight (8) and four (4) hour shifts (days /evenings), including weekdays, weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.
