Job Overview

Pickering Casino Resort is seeking a Part-time Food Hall Attendant! Under the direction of the Management Team, this role involves providing food and beverage service to guests with a positive attitude. Responsibilities include maintaining and recording daily sales on the P.O.S system in a friendly, professional manner, and creating memorable experiences for guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude.
  • Know all food and beverage items available.
  • Process transactions using the P.O.S system accurately.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring proper balancing.
  • Upsell products to maximize revenue.
  • Attend to guests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas.
  • Greet guests and answer inquiries about food, beverages, and restaurant options.
  • Report irregular activities or hazards to supervisors.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of counters, trays, and equipment.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, licensing laws, and safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Management Team.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a high-volume food court or casino environment.
  • Valid Smart Serve Certificate.
  • Experience with cash handling and P.O.S systems is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check.
Additional Requirements

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts, based on operational needs.
