Job summary

HNM Food Services Inc O/A Red swan Pizza Restaurant in St. Thomas, ON, invites applicants for the Food counter attendant role. This permanent, full-time position offers day, evening, morning and flexible shifts.

The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and earn $15.50 per hour for 30–40 hours per week. Responsibilities include serving customers at counters, stocking supplies, handling take-out orders, cleaning and sanitising the kitchen and dining areas, and maintaining food

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and items to serving areas and set tables.
• Carry and replace linen.
• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
• Load buspans and trays.
• Operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware and flatware.
• Store dishes in the appropriate areas.
• Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas.
• Hand-sanitize and wash dishes and other items.
• Clean pots, pans and cooking equipment.
• Keep track of food quantities consumed.
• Package take-out food for customers.
• Wrap and portion foods for service.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take orders from customers.
• Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, slicing and trimming.
