Job summary

Spicy 6 Fine Indian Cuisine in Vancouver is seeking a versatile food service worker to join our team. You will bring clean dishes to serving areas, clear tables, replenish condiments, package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, prepare simple items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.

Work is permanent, 32 hours per week, with English as the working language. Experience is an asset but not required; secondary school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs.
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
• Package take-out food.
• Portion and wrap foods.
• Prepare, heat and finish simple food items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Take customers' orders.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
