Job summary

Walmart Campbell River is seeking a Food and Consumables Associate to provide excellent customer service and maintain the food and consumables area. You will stock shelves, ensure correct pricing and zoning, and uphold cold chain and food safety standards.

This role starts at CAD 18.40 per hour in Campbell River, BC, and requires applicants to be 16 years or older. You’ll work in a fast-paced retail environment, collaborating with store teams to keep products organized and well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
