Job summary

Stellar Personnel in Toronto is seeking enthusiastic servers to join our Front Of House team. You will provide warm, attentive service, greet guests, take orders, and help guests select menu items while adhering to safety standards.

The role offers flexible shifts (4, 8, 10, or 12 hours), morning and evening slots, and weekend availability. Compensation ranges from $18 to $22 per hour, depending on experience, with Smart Serve certification required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of server experience.
• Valid Smart Serve Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly, attentive service to guests and suggest menu options.
• Take and enter orders into the POS accurately and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.
• Familiarize guests with menu items, including drinks and desserts, and provide recommendations.
• Serve beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Process payments securely and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area across stations.
• Upsell menu items and promote offers and seasonal features.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly, and attentive service to all guests,ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience. Greet guests,take orders, and offer menu recommendations based on theirpreferences and dietary restrictions.
  
• Efficiently take and accurately enter food and beverage ordersinto the POS system. Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff toensure timely and accurate delivery of orders. Handle specialrequests or modifications with professionalism and accuracy.
• Familiarize yourself with our menu offerings, including fooditems, cocktails, wines, and other beverages. Provide detaileddescriptions and recommendations to guests.
• Serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails,wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently. Handle cashtransactions, credit card payments, and other forms of paymentsecurely and in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including barstations, service areas, and dining sections.
• Identify opportunities to upsell menu items and promotespecial offers or seasonal features. Provide information aboutadditional products, such as wine pairings or dessert options, toenhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
• Adhere to all applicable food safety and alcohol serviceregulations, including age verification and responsible alcohol service.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 Year of prior experience as a server
• Valid Smart Serve Certificate
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with food and beverage services.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously whilemaintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency
• Meticulous attention to detail in taking orders,delivering food and beverages, and handling cash transactions

Compensation

$18/hr-$22/hr, depending on your experience and skill level
