Job Description:

Food & Beverage Bartender at The Glencoe Golf & Country Club located in Calgary, AB T3Z 2T8, Canada. This position is open to candidates with a Bachelor Degree. The role is within the hospitality hotel industry, with openings published for the 2025 golf season.

Job Responsibilities:

The Glencoe Golf & Country Club offers golf opportunities and amenities along the Elbow River, just outside Calgary. We aim to be members' second home, providing excellent experiences through our values of respect, wellness, integrity, relationships, caring, and innovation.

We are hiring full-time and part-time seasonal Bartenders to create exceptional experiences for members and guests, offering premium beverages and high service levels in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide immediate, professional, and friendly service to members.
2. Support the serving team to exceed service standards.
3. Know all menu offerings and confidently recommend items.
4. Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages per order.
5. Perform daily tasks including opening/closing duties, inventory, receiving orders, and supporting events.
6. Maintain stock and communicate inventory levels to supervisors.
7. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.

Qualifications:

1. ProServe Certification is required.
2. At least 1-year bartending experience preferred; golf knowledge is a plus.
3. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with a positive attitude.
4. Ability to handle physical duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
5. Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification is an asset.
6. Reliable transportation is required, as public transit is unavailable.

Additional Details:

Positions report to the Restaurant & Outlets Manager, with shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A background check and Respect in the Workplace certification are required before employment.
