The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory in Guelph, ON, is seeking a part-time Food Bank and Pantry Operations assistant to support daily food bank duties, drive pickups, and assist with client intake and administration.

You will promote community services, maintain records in Link2Feed, ensure safety, and work 20 hours per week with some weekend/evening shifts. Prior social services experience and a valid G-class license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Social Services or equivalent.
• Safe Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid Class G driver's license and clean abstract.

Responsabilités

• Operate food bank and pantry duties, manage donations, and assist with distribution.
• Drive Salvation Army vehicles for food donations and maintain vehicle safety.
• Support client intake, scheduling, and referrals to community resources.
• Maintain confidential client records and prepare statistical reports.
• Uphold OH&S and food safety policies; work 20 hours per week with possible weekend/evening shifts.
