We are now hiring full-time Food Assemblers to work in our Food & Tray Assembly Departments at our flight kitchen located at the Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, British Columbia.

A Food Assembler will be required to:

• Assemble meals, appetizers, desserts, or passenger meal trays depending on the department, following exacting customer specifications
• Strictly follow all relevant food safety protocols
• Work safely at all times, respecting rules and regulations while adhering to customer guidelines
• Ensure all food & equipment boarded is safe and complies with airline security requirements

Job Specific Requirements:

• Obtain and maintain a Transport Canada Security Clearance
• Manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Work in a detailed and methodical manner while adhering to tight airline industry timelines
• Work an assigned schedule, including days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Work overtime when required
• Arrive to work on time
• Pass a criminal background check
• Follow directions and communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
• Depending on the position, work in a temperature-reduced environment for extended hours
• Work as part of a team within the department and collaborate with other departments
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to fifty (50) pounds

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
