Qualifications

  • Extensive computer knowledge required.
  • Valid driving license necessary.

Job description

The Food & Beverage Administrator Coordinator will serve as a key member of the Banff Jasper Collection (BJC) F&B team, assuming key tasks for communication, community, and financial development.

What will you do in this job?

  • Receive and prioritize requests for team communication within Banff Jasper Collection
  • Coordinate and prepare PowerPoint presentations for quarterly F&B meetings
  • Maintain promotional event schedule
  • Liaise between reservations, marketing for IBE build and bookings for any specials or upcoming events
  • Compose & disseminate BEOs and communicate internal BJC events, and community events to the F&B team
  • Menu design and management
  • Compile and review guest experience scores monthly with LOBs
  • Reply to all negative BJC Open Table comments
  • Assist in business planning deck presentation
  • Arrange transportation and itinerary on a need basis
  • Receive, review, and process all internal meeting requests, for training, orientations, and department meetings in Delphi. Create and distribute reports and internal BEOs for these events.
  • Be fully trained in Delphi and generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Monitor and update events from Delphi into 7 shifts
  • Assist in creating training manuals for F&B Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist in the development and follow-up on community support and charitable activities
  • Compile, curate, and distribute monthly F&B newsletter
  • Regular, structured verbal and written communications summarized and distributed for the Food & Beverage leadership
  • Take meeting minutes as required for leadership meetings

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • 3+ years of Food and Beverage experience, or two years working in event management
  • Extensive computer knowledge
  • Understanding of inventory procedures and systems
  • Experience with Micros/Optimum for programming and report generation
  • Consent to a criminal record check to honor Banff Jasper Collection’s commitment to being “Always Honest”
  • A valid driving license is required
