Job summary

Rogers Foods Ltd. in Armstrong, BC is seeking a Flour Packer to efficiently package milled product, including setup, changeover and light maintenance of packaging equipment. The role requires lifting up to 25 kg and potential shift work, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include operating packaging line, ensuring correct bin transfer, quality checks, and maintaining sanitary conditions. Forklift experience is an asset and strong computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic.
• Forklift experience an asset.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg on a repetitive basis and work in hot/dusty environments.
• Available for shift work, weekends, holidays, and call outs.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains efficient performance on flour packaging line while meeting quota.
• Ensures correct flour bin is used for transfer.
• Ensures only good quality packed product enters warehouse.
• Ensures bags are folded, sealed and wrapped correctly.
• Performs quality checks and records production reports.
• Maintains sanitary conditions and coordinates with Maintenance Department.
• Reports sanitation issues and maintains packaging equipment cleanliness.
