Job summary

Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) – Springbrook flour mill in Alberta – is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate and schedule production within the facility, ensuring an efficient manufacturing process that meets customer demand.

The role requires a minimum of five years in packing/warehousing in a food production setting, with supervisory experience preferred; strong leadership, Excel proficiency, and ability to work in flour dust and variable temperatures are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in packing/warehousing within a food production facility.
• 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of packing employees, including delegation, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Support the planning, scheduling and execution of the production schedule.
• Monitor health and safety performance in accordance with policies.
• Maintain inventory levels for finished products to meet internal and external demand.
• Manage raw material inventory, receiving, ensuring accurate counts.
• Identify discrepancies in inventory and implement corrective measures.
• Conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment.
• Manage equipment schedule for maintenance and clean-up in your area.
• Coordinate seamless integration with other departments within PHMG.
• Provide coverage for other areas as needed.
