Job summary

JD Sports Fashion PLC in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a Floor Supervisor at Limeridge Mall to support junior management and uphold store standards. You will help lead the team, drive customer service, and execute in-store initiatives.

The role requires urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to develop staff, handle inquiries, and contribute to sales KPIs. On-site, full-time with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience (6 months–1 year) and a willingness to develop.
• Openness to feedback and willingness to develop.
• High sense of urgency with attention to detail.
• Motivate team to drive daily sales and meet weekly objectives.
• Ability to mitigate issues through problem-solving.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Solid knowledge of in-house and global brands (Nike, Lacoste, Adidas, The North Face).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• IT skills: Outlook, Word, and Excel are assets.

THE ROLE

Our Retail Team is looking for an Floor Supervisor at our Limeridge Mall location! Looking for someone with a high sense of urgency, keen eye for detail and driven mentality. The ideal candidate would be part of the store's Junior Management team, you will provide managerial support and help maintain as well as improve the levels of customer service throughout your section. You will provide assistance in the supervision of all staff while maintaining the standards of the shop floor. Furthermore, you will deal with certain managerial processes on a daily basis as instructed by Store Management. Development opportunities within the junior management are vast as there is room to grow with the company in-store with leadership characteristics such as creativity, problem-solving, and adaptability.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• IT skills- Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is an asset.
