Job summary

Air North in Whitehorse, Yukon, is seeking a Counter Attendant to deliver exceptional customer service at the grab-and-go food counter. You will assist customers with menu selections, handle inquiries and transactions, and maintain cleanliness while upholding food safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing items, greeting customers, and ensuring efficient service. The role requires 3 years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work alcohol service shifts

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in customer service, hospitality or food services.
• Must be 19 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Valid Driver's License.
• A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks.
• Enthusiasm for contributing to Air North's mission, whether direct customer service or operations.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Experience handling cash.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service by greeting customers, offering assistance and answering inquiries about the products and menu options.
• Prepare and assemble grab-and-go food and beverage items according to established recipes and guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize counter and dining areas, displays, appliances and high-touch surfaces.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations and best practices are met or exceeded.
