Job summary

TAPP Workforce Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for aeromedical transport across remote Northern Canada. The role involves two-week immersive assignments on high-acuity flights, followed by two weeks off, with all travel and accommodations arranged.

You will work with an Air Medical Crew alongside an Online Medical Control physician and pilots, benefiting from CAMATA Level 1 training and a structured mentorship culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma in practical nursing from an accredited program.
• Current registration in good standing as LPN/RPN.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitoring during pre-flight and in-flight phases of aeromedical transport.
• Support triage, stabilization, and safe transfer of patients with the Air Medical Crew.
• Serve as the communication link between aircraft, referring facilities, and Online Medical Control.
• Coordinate with pilots, flight followers, and crew to ensure smooth transfers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in line with privacy laws.
• Make real-time clinical decisions with confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Deliver culturally respectful, high-quality care in Indigenous and remote Northern communities.
