Qualifications

• Experience as veterinary receptionist or Veterinary Assistant is an asset.
• Comfort with patient handling and basic veterinary skills, or willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service and client communication skills.
• Experience collecting payments, reviewing estimates, and discussing services with clients.
• Ability to collaborate closely with veterinarians and technicians.
• Positive, dependable, and team-first approach.
• Time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy days.
• Experience with ezyVet is an asset.
• Focus on building positive, long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Safely handle patients while supporting the medical team.
• Answer phones, route calls, and respond to voicemails promptly.
• Make outbound calls, texts, and emails to confirm appointments and follow up on care.
• Check patients in and out and maintain client/patient information.
• Collect payments, process invoices, and review estimates with clients.
• Educate clients on patient care, medications, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and technicians to coordinate care plans.
