Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a delivery driver to provide courteous pickup and delivery on assigned routes. You will inspect shipments for service conformance, report stop counts, and ensure secure handling of packages and equipment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, bilingual English/French is preferred, and physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• 1 year of customer-focused business experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs an asset.
• Able to lift 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Must complete driver assessment training.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a high-pressure environment.
• Valid full driver’s license required; bilingual (English/French) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous pickup and delivery on assigned route.
• Inspect shipments for compliance with FedEx Canada service features.
• Maintain safety and professional appearance; secure property and equipment.
• Communicate with sales and inform of leads and market changes.
• Operate tracking/dispatch systems with accurate data input.
• Answer customer questions on FedEx Canada services and requirements.
