Beacon Community Services in Saanich is seeking a casual Housekeeper to support older adults to live independently at home. You will provide light housekeeping, build trustful relationships, and schedule your own hours within a casual framework.

Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, laundry, and reporting. A reliable vehicle, English communication, and a compassionate demeanor are important; training and team meetings are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Experience cleaning homes.
• Experience working with seniors is an asset.
• Physically able to perform all cleaning tasks listed.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• Class 5 driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Provide light housekeeping services to seniors living independently in their own homes.
• Dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Clean kitchen floors, counters, and sink.
• Check and clean the refrigerator.
• Bathroom sinks, tubs, showers, counters, toilets, and floors.
• Do laundry, make beds, and change bed linens.
• Clean windows.
• Visits can vary between 1-3 hours.
• Call clients the day before an appointment.
• Submit brief monthly client reports.
• Other duties as required.
