Job summary

CBI Home Health is hiring a Personal Support Worker to support clients in Creemore, Stayner, and New Lowell. You will help clients remain safe and independent in their homes, assist with mobility and light exercises, and report changes to the care team.

A valid PSW certificate or related certification is preferred, with CPR/First Aid and a clean CRC beneficial. We offer flexible scheduling, weekend work, benefits, and growth opportunities, including travel allowances and rewards programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel from home to home within the Creemore, Stayner, New Lowell community - valid driver's license and car insurance is a requirement.
• Your Personal Support Worker Certificate, or valid certification as a Home Support Worker... will be considered an asset
• Students enrolled in health care programs or with related certificates may qualify
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 12 months
• Proof of a negative TB test within the last 12 months and an up-to-date immunization record
• Commitment to work every other weekend
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills; French language is an asset
• Reliability and strong organization skills
• Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg)

Responsibilities

• Support clients to be safe and independent in their homes
• Assist clients to mobilize and perform light exercises
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to the supervisor
• May perform light housekeeping tasks as indicated in client care plans
