The South Shore Regional Centre for Education (SSRCE) is inviting applications for substitute teachers to join our pool and provide flexible coverage across schools in the region. Successful candidates will be added to the substitute list for SSRCE with flexibility to choose the schools they substitute in.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Education and a Nova Scotia Teaching License; candidates with a bachelor’s but no BEd may apply for a Permit to Teach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education Degree is required.
• Nova Scotia Teaching License is required.
• Applicants with a bachelor's degree but without a BEd may apply for a Permit to Teach.
