Job summary

CBI Home Health in Chatham-Kent is hiring an Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) to support clients at home and in the community. A post-secondary OTA/PTA diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

You’ll work with mobility aids and assistive equipment to promote independence. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, travel reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary OTA/PTA diploma required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
• Knowledge of mobility aids and assistive equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clients for treatment and progress programs.
• Assist with therapy programs and activities of daily living.
• Set up, use, and clean therapeutic equipment.
• Apply modalities such as heat, ice, ultrasound, IFC, EMS, TENS.
• Document clearly in client records.
