Job summary

Schoolhouse Playcare Centre of Lakehead Inc. is seeking supply and casual Educators to support children in our Early Childhood Education program.

The role requires an ECE Diploma and active registration with the College of ECEs, plus First Aid/CPR and a Vulnerable Sector Check. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff, while remaining flexible to cover shifts as needed in a nurturing environment

Qualifications

• Must hold an Early Childhood Education Diploma.
• Must be registered or in process of registering with the College of ECEs.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Familiarity with the Child Care and Early Years Act.
• Familiarity with the ECE Code of Ethics.

• Support and supervise children in a professional, inclusive Early Childhood Education program.
• Collaborate with parents and co-workers to deliver quality care and education.
• Be flexible and prepared to cover supply/casual shifts as needed.
