BrightPath Kids in Lasalle, ON seeks a casual/supply substitute Early Childhood Assistant to support classroom activities and student well‑being. You will assist with instruction, promote engaging activities, and collaborate with families and staff to foster a caring learning environment.

Requirements include High School/Equivalent and Early Childhood credentials, with First Aid/CPR, health assessments, and adherence to provincial childcare rules.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Early Childhood Assistant Certification or REG EO Educator license preferred.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintain a safe, healthy environment for children.
• Encourage active participation and learning.
• Collaborate with staff, management, and families.
• Attend staff meetings and PD opportunities as needed.
