Job summary

FedEx Canada is looking for a dedicated Package Delivery Driver in Northwestern Ontario. The role involves loading and unloading packages, ensuring timely delivery, and providing exceptional customer service. Qualified candidates will hold a valid Class 5 driver's license and possess strong communication and time management skills.

Job description

Overview

Ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, including review of orders prior to delivery, loading/unloading the vehicle, and providing exceptional customer service to the client base. Flexible shift opportunities are available; minimum and maximum hours, as well as days of work, are determined by business requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload packages accurately and efficiently.

  • Provide high‑quality customer service throughout the delivery process.
  • Maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid full G license / Class 5 driver’s license.
  • One (1) year of customer‑oriented business experience preferred.
  • In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English).
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Must successfully complete all mandatory pre‑placement driver assessment training and recurring training.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong time‑management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to handle stress and work in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Preferred: knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations.
Learning Period

Approximately 3 months to learn and adjust to the job.
