Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. Responsibilities include providing efficient pick-up and delivery of packages, ensuring service standards, and delivering excellent customer service. Candidates must possess a valid Class G driver's license and have the ability to lift heavy packages. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential. Qualifications

  • One year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is an asset.

Job description

Responsibilities

Provide courteous and efficient pick‑up and delivery of packages on an assigned route. Check all shipments for conformance to Federal Express Canada features of service and provide related customer service functions.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or educational equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license (Class G) with a good driving record.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs using appropriate equipment.
  • One year of customer‑oriented business experience preferred.
  • Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre‑placement driver assessment training.
  • Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian customs regulations is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, time‑management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a highly pressured environment.
  • Willingness to be flexible and work different schedules and holidays as needed.
Shift Details

Monday to Friday, 8‑hour shifts. Three‑day work week totaling 17.5 hours per week.

Language Requirements

For positions in Quebec, applicants must be bilingual in French and English.
