Job summary

Job description

This is an interview position.

To ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, responsibilities include reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading/unloading vehicles, and providing exceptional customer service.

Flexible shift opportunities are available; minimum and maximum hours, as well as days of work, will be determined based on business needs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Post Secondary:

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.

Professional accreditation/certification:

• Must have a valid full G license / Class 5 driver's license.

Related Experience:

• None required for entry; one year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.

Training:

• Approximately 3 months to learn or adjust to the job.

Other requirements:

• In Quebec, bilingual (French and English) is mandatory.

Technical Skills:

• Must meet minimum thresholds on driver assessment training.
• Ability to complete all basic and recurrency training.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is an asset.
