Casual/flex driver position

Job summary

FedEx Group in Nisku is seeking a casual/flex driver to service predetermined routes and ensure timely package delivery. You will review orders before delivery, load and unload the vehicle, and provide outstanding customer service to our client base.

Shifts are flexible with 1–2 days during the week and Saturdays required; bilingualism in French and English is preferred, especially in Quebec. A valid Class 5/G license is mandatory, with training completed on site.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be bilingual in French and English (Quebec residents).

Responsibilities

• Deliver on predetermined routes and ensure timely delivery.

This is an interview position.

To ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, load/unload vehicle and provide exceptional customer service to our client base.

Flexible shift opportunities (min and max hours, days of work parameters will be determined based on business requirements).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Post Secondary:

• High school diploma/educational equivalent.

Professional accreditation/certification:

• Must have a valid full G license / Class 5 driver's license.

Other specific mandatory experience requirements

Technical Skill Requirements

• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
• Ability to lift 70 lbs
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations an asset.

• Good time management and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment

Casual/flex driver position in NISKU. Saturday availability required and 1-2 days during the week. Salary is 21.74$ hourly
