Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a casual flex driver in Mississauga to ensure timely delivery along predefined routes while providing outstanding customer service. You will review orders, load and unload the vehicle, and adhere to mandatory training and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid Class 5/G license, and strong interpersonal skills. Availability for weekends and up to 40 hours per week is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Must have a valid full G license / Class 5 driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and complete driver assessment training.
• Bilingual ability in Quebec is required (French and English).
• One year customer-oriented business experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages on predetermined routes with timely customer service.

Job description

This is an interview position. To ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, load/unload vehicle and provide exceptional customer service to our client base. Flexible shift opportunities (min and max hours, days of work parameters will be determined based on business requirements).

Post Secondary

• High school diploma/educational equivalent.

Professional Accreditation/certification

• Must have a valid full G license / Class 5 driver's license.

Related Experience Requirements

• One (1) year customer oriented business experience preferred

Other Specific Mandatory Experience Requirements

• In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English)

Technical Skill Requirements

• Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
• Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
• Ability to lift 70 lbs
• Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations an asset.

Additional Details:

CASUAL FLEX DRIVER POSITION, MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK A MINIMUM OF 4 SHIFTS PER MONTH, CAN WORK UP TO 40 HOURS PER WEEK, MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS.
