Job summary

The City of Pitt Meadows is seeking a proactive Fleet Supervisor to lead and maintain the municipal fleet, reporting to the Manager and Assistant Manager of Operations. This role develops long-term maintenance plans, oversees procurement and disposal, and supervises skilled trades staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Regular hours are 7:00am–3:30pm, with potential Earned Day Off and overtime. The position supports Public Works and emergency vehicle maintenance in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 with EVT certification and related supervisory experience.
• Experience coordinating preventative maintenance and fleet planning.
• Ability to supervise, mentor subordinates and manage budgets.
• Municipal environment experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and maintain the City’s municipal fleet and equipment.
• Develop long-term operating and preventive maintenance plans.
• Oversee fleet procurement and disposal and regulatory programs.
• Supervise skilled trades staff and support Public Works operations.
