Job Description

RST is a recognized leader in safe, efficient tank transportation throughout Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Quebec, and the eastern United States. In addition to conveying cargo in line with top-tier industry standards, RST also provides emergency response and training services throughout Atlantic Canada. This position will appeal to those who like to work in a fast-paced environment, can multitask, and have a high standard for their work.

Responsibilities

1. Provide customer service to each customer/location;
2. Coordinate, confirm, and dispatch all loads;
3. Manage the productivity of your fleet, ensuring appropriate mileage and revenue are generated by each Owner/Operator and Driver while considering strict Hours of Service management;
4. Efficiently manage maintenance programs;
5. Ensure all system information is entered accurately and timely to assist in payroll and billing processes;
6. Handle and manage issues raised by Owner/Operators and Drivers professionally;
7. Manage Owner/Operators and drivers' availability and equipment to maximize utilization, create cost efficiencies, and exceed customer expectations;
8. Promote and support all safety initiatives in your roles and responsibilities.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree required;
2. 2-5 years of experience required;
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
4. Must be a team player and an independent self-starter;
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
6. Experience with TMW is an asset;
7. Experience in the transportation industry is an asset.
