Job summary

The Brick is seeking motivated delivery professionals to join our Fleet division in Manitoba. You will inspect, load, and deliver products to customers, perform pre-trip checks, and record trip details. Excellent customer service, organization, and flexible hours are required.

Candidates should have a Class 5 license with a clean abstract and be able to lift heavy items over 50 lbs. A background check will be conducted, and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required, Class 5 acceptable.
• Must have a clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise over 50 lbs.
• Customer service orientation essential.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and load product.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Deliver and assemble products at customers’ homes as needed.
• Accurately record mileage, fuel costs and issues.
• Complete driver check-in and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and load product
• Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle
• Lift and carry products into customers’ homes with no damages, and assemble as required
• Record information such as mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered
• Complete driver check-in, including proper accounting of merchandise and invoicing

Qualifications

• Delivery experience is an asset
• Valid driver’s license (class 5 only is needed) ~ Graduated is NOT sufficient
• Current Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis
• High school diploma or equivalent would be an asset but not mandatory
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
• Must pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
