Job summary

The Brick in Kingston, Ontario is hiring a fleet driver to route and schedule deliveries, load products, and perform pre-trip vehicle inspections. The role requires lifting heavy merchandise and delivering to customers’ homes with care. A valid Class 5 license, a current driver's abstract, and the ability to pass a background check are essential. Shifts may include evenings and weekends.

• Complete driver check-in, including proper accounting of merchandise and invoicing

Qualifications

• Delivery experience is an asset
• Valid driver’s license (class 5 only is needed) ~ Graduated is NOT sufficient
• Current Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 50 lbs on a regular basis
• High school diploma or equivalent would be an asset but not mandatory
• Customer service oriented
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required
• Must pass a criminal background check sponsored by The Brick
