Job summary

U-Haul in London, Ontario seeks a Brake and Tire Technician to maintain the latest fleet for customers. You will perform tire and brake maintenance, mount/dismount and balance tires, and occasionally road test vehicles as part of a production line. Training is provided, with a supportive team and opportunities for advancement.

Applicants should have 1-2 years of repair experience, a driver’s license, basic computer skills, and a commitment to safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude is required.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Basic computer skills to operate maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires.
• Occasionally road test vehicles.
• Work in a production line.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
