Job summary

U-Haul in London, Ontario is seeking a Brake and Tire Technician to maintain the latest fleet, performing tire and brake maintenance on Ford and GMC trucks, securing vehicles on lifts, mounting and balancing tires, and occasionally road testing.

You will join a team with access to the Technician Training Program (Ford and GMC classes) and a comprehensive benefits package, with opportunities for advancement and paid training. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license.
• The ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
• Basic computer skills.
• Regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Mount, dismount, and balance tires.
• Occasionally road test vehicles.
• Work in a production line.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
