The ideal candidate has mid-level experience in flat or membrane roofing, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Professional flat or membrane roofing experience required.
• Working knowledge of common flat-roof systems, materials, and detailing methods.
• Ability to use relevant hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment safely.
• Comfort working at heights and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Physical ability to lift materials and perform repetitive construction tasks.
• Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and a team-focused attitude.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to assigned job sites throughout Ottawa and surrounding communities are required.
• Ability to understand and communicate jobsite instructions and safety information in English.

Responsibilities

• Remove and dispose of existing roof-system materials as required.
• Prepare substrates and install insulation, vapour barriers, membranes, flashings, and related components.
• Complete seams, penetrations, drains, curbs, edges, and other critical waterproofing details.
• Operate roofing tools and equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Follow fall-protection and applicable fire-watch requirements.
• Report damaged substrates, moisture, or site concerns to the foreman.
• Maintain an orderly work area and complete daily and final cleanup.

Remember Me Roofing is seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Installer for projects throughout Ottawa. The ideal candidate understands membrane roofing systems, takes pride in watertight details, follows safety requirements consistently, and contributes to an efficient and respectful field crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove and dispose of existing roof-system materials as required
• Prepare substrates and install insulation, vapour barriers, membranes, flashings, and related components
• Complete seams, penetrations, drains, curbs, edges, and other critical waterproofing details
• Assist with inspections, leak investigation, maintenance, and repairsOperate roofing tools and equipment in accordance with safety procedures
• Follow fall-protection and applicable fire-watch requirements
• Report damaged substrates, moisture, or site concerns to the foreman
• Maintain an orderly work area and complete daily and final cleanup

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: CA$25.00-CA$35.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, with start times and hours varying based on project schedules and weather conditions. Occasional overtime may be required.
