Remember Me Roofing in Ottawa is seeking an experienced Shingle Roofing Installer to join its field team. This on-site role covers Ottawa and surrounding communities, requiring dependable, safety-minded work on residential sloped-roof installations with the crew.

You will remove existing materials, install underlayment, ice and water protection, flashing, vents, and shingles, perform roof repairs, and keep work sites tidy and safe.

Qualifications

• Professional residential shingle roofing experience required.
• Knowledge of sloped-roof installation methods, flashing, and ventilation.
• Comfort working at heights and performing physically demanding outdoor work.
• Ability to lift and carry roofing materials and use roofing tools safely.
• Reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow direction.
• Good teamwork and respectful communication.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to assigned job sites throughout Ottawa and surrounding communities are required.
• Ability to understand and communicate jobsite instructions and safety information in English.

Responsibilities

• Remove existing roofing materials and prepare roof decks for installation.
• Install underlayment, ice and water protection, drip edge, flashing, vents, and asphalt shingles.
• Complete roof repairs and replace damaged materials as directed.
• Use ladders, fall-protection systems, hand tools, and power tools safely.
• Inspect work areas and report deck damage or installation concerns to the foreman.
• Protect landscaping, siding, driveways, and other customer property.
• Load, stage, and organize materials safely and efficiently.
• Keep the site clean throughout the day and participate in final cleanup.
