What To Expect

As a member of the Asset Protection team, you will be accountable for all aspects of loss prevention related to store and corporate objectives. You will work productively with Customer and Associate groups within the store to ensure all objectives are clearly communicated and executed. You should have a proven track record of identifying operational deficiencies related to Asset Protection and applying effective solutions.

What You Will Do
  • Assist in the coordination of the timely and accurate execution of all asset protection initiatives as per Company standards
  • Use store communication systems effectively for asset protection initiatives
  • Conduct store audits, support store policies and procedures ensuring compliance
  • Detect and arrest shoplifters and complete related documentation
  • Execute Asset Protection procedures to reduce shortage
  • Generate new ideas and solutions to everyday challenges
  • Approach issues with a proactive mindset and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain a positive, can-do attitude
What You Will Bring To The Team
  • Valid region/market-specific security license (Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan licenses are not required)
  • Awareness of retail procedures and criminal civil proceedings is an asset
  • Full flexibility with schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Availability to respond to overnight alarm calls and attend the store as needed

Pay: $21.00 - Starting wage may vary based on local Collective Bargaining Agreement where applicable.
