Our client, a leading importer of athletic apparel and accessories, is looking for a talented Fit and Spec Technician to join their team!


Responsibilities:

• Create tech packs and communicate with overseas suppliers
• Enter product information in PLM, to assist designers when needed
• Prepare fit comments on samples, and work with designers on comments to be sent to factories
• Organize some quality controls on samples and production
• Take sample measurements and list spec comments to be sent to factories
• Schedule fit sessions with designers
• Track samples and update tracking files based on maker information

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Fashion Design or related field of study
• Bilingual (English and French)
• Knowledge of Illustrator and Indesign required
• Proficient in the use of Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook and other MS Office applications.
• In-depth knowledge of garment construction and fit (knowing technical garment is a real asset), patternmaking an asset
• Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills with a proven ability to prioritize.
